Congenital Anomaly

Congenital anomalies are problems that occur during the development of the fetus in the womb, due to reasons such as hereditary disease, deformity in the mother’s womb, and radiation exposure.

The majority of anomalies that fall within the field of plastic surgery are thyroglosaal cysts and branchial cysts. They are located on the front or sides of the neck area. They can be felt upon palpation and can be easily removed surgically.
