Breast augmentation is the operations we perform to increase the volume of the breast and partially improve its form. Basically, prostheses in which silicone gels with reduced fluidity are used as filling in a silicone sheath are used.

It can be applied to any individual who is in good health, who has completed breast development, and who is not satisfied with their current breasts. Very successful results are obtained in the improvement of developmental delays, serious weight changes, volume losses and deformations that occur after pregnancy or breastfeeding.

The operation takes about 1-2 hours. It is applied under general anesthesia. You can leave the hospital on the same day or the next day. Immediately after the operation, an elastic bandage or a supportive corset bra is worn to prevent possible swelling and to support the breasts. You should use the recommended drugs for about 1 week to prevent pain and infection. The corset application continues for several weeks. Physical activities are restricted for about 1 month. In this process, appropriate medication is started for the scars.

With the developing technology, breast prostheses are constantly updated. Today, there are dozens of prosthesis options that are suitable for the person’s existing breast and chest anatomy, with different width, length and projection. They offer different advantages thanks to their different surface properties, hardness and shapes.

Breast augmentation surgeries are used effectively to increase the volume of the breast, correct limited sagging, provide fullness of the upper pole of the breast, and correct volume asymmetries. The results we obtained are clear that the person’s body image, waist to hip ratio and self-confidence show great improvement after surgery.
