TRIn patients with elongation in the area called the philtrum between the upper lip and the nose, due to age, genetic reasons or after incorrect and repetitive filling applications, the process of shortening this area and moving the red lip region higher is called lip lifting application.
When the face divided into three horizontal plan, if the distance between upper lip and the nose in the lower 1/3 part of the face has the ratio of 1-1.618 according to distance between the lower lip and chin tip, it is called the golden ratio for the lower face area. Lip lifting can be applied to patients who want to have this aesthetic ratio and also to people who have permanent lip fullness. This surgery, which is usually performed under local anesthesia, takes approximately 30 minutes and the results are permanent.
